FAQ

Q. What kind of meals do you serve?

Home-made Western-style meals. Dinner: appetizer, cabbage rolls, rice and dessert. Breakfast changes with the seasons — burgers, salad, chiffon cake, French toast and more. Drinks (orange juice, coffee, tea) are self-service.

Q. Can you cater for food allergies or vegetarian diets?

We can prepare meals for guests with food allergies — please let us know your allergies when you book. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer vegetarian meals.

Q. Do you speak English?

We don't speak much English, but we're happy to help using translation apps. Messages in English are very welcome — we reply by email, so writing is the easiest way to talk with us.

Q. How do I get there from Tokyo?

The easiest way is the highway bus from Tokyo Station to Tateyama Station (about 2 hours). See the Access page for details.

Q. Is there parking?

Yes, for about 10 cars, across the road from the inn. Cats may be under your car — please check before you start the engine, especially with electric or hybrid cars.

Q. Can I bring my own alcohol?

You can enjoy it in your room, but outside drinks are not allowed at mealtimes.

Q. Can I bring treats or toys for the cats?

Toys are welcome. Please don't bring treats — some cats are on special diets. Cat treats are sold at the inn.

Q. Can I bring my dog?

Sorry, dogs are not allowed.

Q. Can I pay by credit card?

Yes. Cash, credit cards (including Visa and Mastercard) and PayPay are accepted.
